That had been stated over and over and over again since she went into High School. Her socially awkward, funny, and theatrical mother had given Laurie about eighty percent of her personality. The only real difference is that she’s a lot more confident. He’s the life of teh party off campus and all the students know it because they all know he has a stash of aspirin way larger than necessary in his desk. Despite this, he’s a very serious teacher, he’s never taught drunk or hungover, although sometimes he gets very close. She believes that everyone deserves the same amount of warmth and care. She turned out to be not a thing like her flamboyantly out of the way, crazy, wacky, fashion-centric, stuck up, self-centered mother  the way that her siblings. She’s more like her dad, who would rather sit back and listen to what others have to say and attempt to be compassionate despite whether or not they “deserve” it. As could be easily predicted, she has a lot of close friends, most of which are quiet, kind and unpopular. As was to be expected, she’s starting to have feelings for Carter who is so much like her it was strange. She can’t help it. She’s often trying to get up the nerve to tell him how she feels, but she just can’t do it.
